3 Years and Counting!!

I know I told you last week that Adam was taking me to the restaurant on St. Pete Beach for our 3 year anniversary, but we decided not to go there because by the time we got there it would have been dark, and we would not be able to see the view like we wanted. So that will have to wait until a later time. Instead Adam took me to Flamestone. This is the restaurant where we had our first date, and when the hostess sat us at our table there was a reserved sign on it and a beautiful bouquet of flowers! Adam had them delivered there that day and it was definitely a wonderful surprise.

Anywho, the next night I went over to Shawn and Chrissy's house for dinner and to help her with their wedding stuff. It was fun and I always enjoy hanging out with them. I think Adam and I are going camping with the two of them in a couple weeks. I can't wait!

Well most of you know that I am getting a clearance at work and I just finished with the questionnaire portion of the investigation. Let me tell you, it is super hard to go back 10 years and write down what you were doing at that time. I'm so glad it's over, even though the investigator is going to come here to talk to me about all the stuff I wrote down! What a process! Congratulations to all of you that get to be interviewed about me :-) Be nice!! Hehe

Well this weekend is my bosses super bowl party and then Conrad and Tiff's super bowl party, so we will be super busy. My roommate has the flu right now so hopefully I can escape that death sentence and have a blast! Until next time, I will leave you with some funny pics. Well not the first one, but all the rest!

Byeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I know I try to post weekly, but I have been pretty busy. My career is coming together and I couldn't be more happy and excited! Hopefully I can start making the big bucks soon! :-)

So let's do 2 weekend recaps this week!

The weekend of the 14th Adam and I went to a lightning game and then Chris got us a night stay at the Waterside Marriot. The views were AMAZING! The game was fun, but I was more concerned about watching Chris and his new date from across the ice!

Adam and I at the Lightning game

The following night Adam and I went over to my parents for dinner because my cousin Emily was in town. We ate Olive Garden take-out and played Scene It Comedy Edition. The next day my mom, Emily, and I went to the outlet mall for a little girl time and shopping. I would say Ellenton Mall is one of my top 5 places to be. We had MLK day off from work that Monday, so I spent the entire day being lazy in my robe. See post below.

This past weekend we spent the night at Kevin and Kat's having dinner and playing games. Then Saturday night I met up with Zulaima, Heather, Tiff, and their boys at CityFish in Oldsmar. The food was pretty good, but the service was horrible. It's always fun to catch up with my ladies though! After that Katie and I just hung out at our apartment. We stayed up until 2:30am just chatting away. I swear that girl and I can always find something to talk about!

Well that's pretty much it. Nothing too exciting going on right now. Except for this Friday night Adam and I will be celebrating our 3 year anniversary at a rooftop spinning restaurant on St. Pete Beach. I can't wait!!

Gingers Have No Souls

Let's start today's post with a round of applause, for I have another blog follower. Thanks, Dad! That brings the tally to a very popular "2"

Actually let's do another round of applause because I have officially purchased my first granny robe. I have only had my new robe for less that 24 hours and I am already obsessed with it. If you come over to my house at any given time of the day, I will most likely be rocking the robe and my fuzzy booty slippers. This means I am officially un-sexy. Maybe I should have held off with the granny robe until after I get my ring, but oh well. Got to teach him early on.

This is exactly what my life has turned in to...

Now it's time for weekend recap!

Friday night Adam and I went to Carter's hockey game. Well it's not quite a hockey game, it's more like 3-5 year olds skating and falling. It was ADORABLE!

Becky and I

Saturday I went to Wiregrass and then stopped to see Shawn and Chrissy's new house since I was up that way. They have a Kinect for xbox and since I have never experienced that before I had to give it a try. And. Now. I. Want. One. It was so much fun! I have a video of me attempting to dance, and let's just say it was not very coordinated. After that I went to Kevin and Kat's house for burgers and game night. Adam's parents have safely arrived back in Canada, and now Adam and I have to find a way to entertain ourselves this weekend. Hmmm. I'm thinking a date night is in order!

So the wedding count for 2011 that I will be attending thus far is 4! Holy smokes I never get to go to weddings. And out of those 4 weddings, I'm a bridesmaid in 3 of them!! I didn't even know I had that many friends. This is all very strange to me.

And now for my motto of 2011...

Always a bridesmid, never a bride

If you need me I'll be in the corner crying.

I Predict A Great Year Ahead!

2010 has come and gone and I will cherish many memories of that year including getting my first real job, moving into my beautiful apartment, buying my first big girl car, vacations to LA and South Carolina, and of course spending time with my wonderful boyfriend. Even though 2010 was very special to me because it was my year of transition, I predict that 2011 will be much, much better! And here is why I think that..

1. I know what I am doing. Well kind of...more so than I knew in 2010.
2. The company I work for is expanding soon. I have to pay for that Lex you know!
3. Adam and I are in a good place and I foresee us being engaged in 2011
4. Better relationship with my parents since there isn't a financial struggle with them anymore
5. Weddings galore!

I have a feeling this year is going to be packed full of fun and exciting things!  And of course I will keep you all posted on what those things are!

And now, on to my weekend..

Thursday night Katie, Melissa, and I did a little shopping at Westshore mall (I snagged a great deal on a new Michael Kors bag! Thanks mom!) And then we went to see Black Swan. I warn you, do not take anyone with you to see that movie if you feel uncomfortable watching two chicks go at it in front of them. Thank goodness I was with my girlfriends, and not my dad! (At this very moment I predict my dad saying to my mom "Janie, we need to go see that Black Bird or whatever it's called movie") That movie is DARK, and really confusing. We still have no idea what was going on there.

The next day Katie and I went to the outlet mall because I had a bunch of gift cards and had to return some things. I ended up getting a bunch of clothes for 0 dollars. It was awesome! We then went back to our apartment, freshened up, and headed across the street to Mitchell's Fish Market. It was my first time there and it was delicious! We shared a bowl of lobster bisque and I had the cedar plank salmon. Yum, yum, yum. Oh and did I mention this was New Years Eve? I was in bed and sound asleep before midnight. There is a reason for that though because I had to pick Adam, Chris, and their parents up at the airport the next morning! Yay my baby is back!!

Saturday Adam slept pretty much all day and then we went back across the street to meet Chris and their parents at Maggiano's for dinner. Yes, I know what you're thinking, and yes, I did put on 10 pounds this weekend. Dinner was excellent. Some of the dinners you order at Maggiano's comes with an extra dinner of your choice that they pack up and send you home with, so I got 2 dinners, and I'm still eating off it! And they wonder why 1 out of 3 people are overweight. Keep up the good work, America.

Sunday Adam's mom, Becky, and I went to lunch at Daily Eats in Hyde Park and then to AWA spa for a facial and she got a massage. We sat and talked and drank hot tea. It was wonderful and a great way to start off 2011!

If you need me I'll be at the gym doing intense cardio sessions.

This weekend we will be in Land O' Lakes visiting Adam's parents before they fly back to Canada. I will have another weekend full of food and drinks. But after this weekend, I swear it's back to normal life!

Tootles!
